Public BEFORE installing IE8 Beta 2 you need to have a up to date XP SP3 or a Vista SP1 installation. for it to be flawless. otherwise install can fail. it should be a obvious thing but better to state the obvious before you come to me complaining.

Public Pownce is good at IE8 beta 2. it does shows that it is not fully ready since it offers the compability mode button but the differences are minimal. the pownce team should be able to make it IE8 ready by the time the final release hits in november.
