Does anyone have recommendations for self-publishing? Some one told me about Lulu, but I haven't personally tried any service before.

The help is appreciated. ;)

I like Lulu a lot. The key to working with Lulu is to remember that it's only as good as what you put into it. They're not the publisher. They don't do layout work. They're just the printer and handle fulfillment.

I followed their recommendations for an InDesign template and got wonderful results. Toss them a Word doc and you'll get what you expect. :)

interesting that you would ask that I was just looking at http://www.blurb.com/

It looks pretty cool, you even have the option to import your blog and turn it in to a book! check it out, let me know what you think.

Good point Michael ... have you used any of their publishing or ISBN services?

Luis - Thanks for the link. Blurb is a different kind of service, but I was also looking for something like that too.

My interest in Lulu is for a client that is wanting to create children's books and have them published (i.e. potentially show up in bookstores, on Amazon, etc.).
