Spent almost 2 hours on a Pownce article last night, need to polish it up today. I need a few one line reviews from the public to include in the review. Anyone up to replying to this message with their thoughts in one line, and a link to their site?

Pownce is to Twitter what Facebook was to MySpace.

Go ahead and link to http://www.ekonoline.com, though I'll be switching domains soon.

Great web app from the $60 million man, Kevin Rose—but the lack of mobile (updating & browsing) and a real desktop app is keeping this from becoming as popular as Twitter.

(I give it 2.5 stars, but Pownce is forcing me to round ;d)

Go mobile soon or you will lose general consumer. Also, while some features *not * working in IE, while seemingly cool, will, again, lose general consumer. Also, why allow text advertising *already*? Give it some time!

Pownce is basically a souped up version of twitter without the external inputs like texting and Instant Messages. Even though Pownce is currently small, I can see a bright future headed toward it. http://kirosblog.com - Kiro

Great way to share info with your friends, while at the same time meeting new people.

Good if you want something to totally eat up your productive time. This is basically a blog for people with minuscule inattention spans. For the moment, however, it seems a fairly intelligent set of folks has descended on the site, which is good. How long it'll stay un-annoying is up in the air, however.

Seems like a lot of people are forgetting that Pownce is less than a week old and invite only beta. If this is beta, I can't fucking wait to see what they have in store for 1.0!

Pownce may only be in the beta phase but it already has some nice features that are very straightforward to use.

I think twitter is great for 'statements' and has been massagd to death to allow conversation. Pownce has way more potential for developing discussions, building communities, and faciliating viral marketing.

Once people start using it for something other than a message board we will start to see it ful potential.

I found myself as interested in Pownce, as I was when I first started using Digg for the first time. Pownce makes connecting and sharing information with your personal friends easy.
