  • Public Playing Carmina Burana in our symphony concert today. Over 1 hour long, 25 movements, involves 150 singers, a childrens choir, 3 soloists, and the symphony. I hear the PAC is sold out. It's gonna be epic.

  • Public So I lost two hours of work yesterday when our Australian coder overwrote my work with a two-hour old version of the file. It's honestly my fault for not getting the stuff into SVN yet, plus he didn't even think I was awake (it was rather early in the morning...)

  • Public Challenged myself to build a simple web app from scratch in 2 hours, no frameworks, just raw PHP and MySQL. It's now going on 5.5 hours, because it was riddled with excruciatingly difficult to find bugs. Yeesh.

  • Public Just saw an extremely misleading Charter Communications commercial. They claim fiber isn't "new" because they've been using fiber for 10 years. Yeah Charter, what's new is running fiber *all the way to the home*. Nothing like skirting the truth.
