    For God's sake, can't you see NEW websites by ignorant devs will render using the old/proprietary crap from IE7 in IE8!
    How is IE8 a step forward for standards if all the lazy developers Microsoft is so worried about pissing off will still, by default and without their knowledge, STILL BE DEVELOPING AGAINST JSCRIPT, DOCUMENT.ALL AND SPOTTY CSS SUPPORT?

  • Public Why do some chose to ignore the obvious consequences of Microsoft's proposed version switch? • The sites that would be "broken" by a nice IE8 ARE ALREADY BROKEN in 30% of the browers out there (Firefox, Safari, Opera...).
