    I'm in the same boat just got laid off. As I found out about it waiting in line on the 29th and had to get out of line. How's that for a sad story.

    I would, except in Canada, we can't use the phone functionality. However, it'd make one helluva iPod. :)

    I can afford one, but its a matter of convincing my wife to not only spend the $600 but also the extra $200 to get out of my current contract. Yeah, its not going to happen. Not as long as she wants new carpet...damn it!
