Public Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit (works on XP as well). Contains nice utils, including some gnu utils like sleep, for those times when Cygwin isn't an option.

Public Toshiba is finally stable (required obtaining the latest release of Vista patches from last Tues). Perhaps next release, MS could focus less on being like OS X and Gnome, and more on being a usable interface.

Public Less than 8 hours with Windows Vista on a new Toshiba A135-4527 laptop: wireless connectivity problems and IE 7/explorer hung (required a hard reboot). So far, not great.
