  • Public Oh, and I'm Eardstapa (Old English for "Wanderer", if you're curious) on twitter, should anyone wish to add me :)

  • Public Also, my professor has corrected me on my essay (which I just got back) for *not* having started a sentence with a conjunction ("business, but..." has been corrected to "business. But..").

Um. My, but academic language is changing...
    Yes. Yes, it is.

  • Public Are there any organic-saavy eco-friendly types out there who can point me to a good, reliable source (or a few) on organic foods and hormones and such?
Specifically, I'm wondering why the hormones they put into our foods are so bad for us. I get the pesticides being Very Very Bad, but I'm wondering about what negative effects the hormones are having on us.
    Please?

  • Public ... why won't this course revise itself...?

*runs off to downtown for tea and a study break*

  • Public Studying in a perfectly silent library for my last final exam of the term... blissful, blissful silence. I suppose there *are* benefits to having a final exam in the last possible exam slot, well after most students have gone home (the fact that I'm still writing exams when I want to be relaxing not being one of those benefits).

  • Public How is it, exactly, that my vacuum won't pick up dog hair but just sucked up a ballpoint pen?

  • Public Dear too much perfume and/or hairspray lady,

Please get the fuck off your cellphone; this is a library. Also, please learn to speak proper English; this is a University.

    Grumpy regards,
