does anyone have the link to the news story about tree huggers getting up in arms over either some Alaskan town or Canadian province allowing the use of Bear Pepper Spray? It had something to do with they didn't like it because it hadn't been proven to not hurt/harm the bears if used against them so it got banned. The residents then went back to their original defense mechanism. Firearms. Now, I don't know about your thought process but I would think that pepper spray is a lot less harmful in the long term than lead.
