It's good for people who live outside the US and can't get an iphone, also good for people who don't want to worry about unlocking it or paying network contracts.

Well, not if you want the 16GB. And I like my phone already. I just want a better iPod. :) I know the iPhone pricing for the 8GB is the same as the 16GB iPod touch, but I don't want to sign up with AT&T.

Yeah, I think I'd prefer the iPod touch too...the iPhone just seems like a hugely expensive gimick to me. Not that I can get one anyway, being in the UK.
