  • Public I have a mild flu at the moment, and I hate that my symptoms come up an hour or so before I get to bed or when I wake up.

    I've been taking meds and knocking myself out with NeoCitran, but I just find it irritating when I'm hacking out my lungs in bed... ugh!

  • Public I just bought the Motorola Q9h from my carrier with a 3-year contract. I haven't bought a handset in at least two years and I haven't been locked in a contract during it. They offered it to me for only $50, so I couldn't resist.

    I'm quite excited about it! Anyone have thoughts about the Q9h? Good or bad?

  • Public For the last 6 months, Pierre and myself have been watching HD TV shows. We've never actually rented or seen an HD movie before.

    Finally rented Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in HD from the cable box. I'm impressed! I don't think I can ever go back to watching SD movies ever again...

  • Public Sony fanboys are at it again in the forums and blogs.

    Today, Microsoft finally announced the XNA Arcade, which is basically an extension of the Live Arcade, but with user-created games. I think this is a huge step for the industry because a lot of indie developers now have a chance to get their creations demo'ed by the 10 million Xbox Live subscribers.

  • Public Oh Lord, what have I done?

    Since getting the 360 fixed, Pierre's bought Assassin's Creed and Devil May Cry 4. He's already almost done Assassin's Creed (1 more level left) and we just got it last week. I can't blame him since he has more downtime now. I'd be playing video games too if I wasn't reading or doing homework instead... :P

  • Public I'm loving this snowstorm!
    It's really done its job to kept me inside and just really catch up on readings and labs.

    I've also been playing Assassin's Creed during my breaks. As repetitive as it is... the gameplay mechanics, plot, and stunning visuals make up for what it lacks. I sure hope there's a second one!
