Public Wow Sun is buying Mysql. Good thing sun has been moving towards open source the past couple of years so there shouldn't be too many changes. Could LAMP(linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP||Python||Perl) become SAMJ(Solaris, Apache, Mysql, Java). I know you can already do that but they can make some changes to make Mysql really optimized for Solaris and Java.

Public Starting a new book "Code Craft - The practice of writing excellent code". Just finished "Write great code Vol 2 - Thinking low level". Also reading "Mastering Algorithms with C". Trying to step my theory game up.
