Fuck Revision3. Fuck em.
Seriously. I'm a member of their forums in pretty good standing I like to think so why can't I post something to music I've created to the community on the forums there to get opinions and feedback?
Apparently it's "spam" and "advertising" for virb.com where I host my shit. Fuck. That. Garbage. Fuck that. I'm not plugging virb! I just want my shit out there and the easiest way to do that is to send it to a community i've engaged with before and get their feedback on some stuff. But apparently that's bad so Fuck you Revision3. I will discontinue my support of you and your shows since obviously as a company you only give a shit about yourselves.

You could stick something in your signature, something graphic and creative pointing to your stuff and also some of your url's. Directly linking to other content via Revision3 is probably not tolerated as its their forums, made to discuss everything Rev3 not any type of external content...
There are other types of communitys out there made for what you want to do at their forums, but I have to side with them on this one... I guess if you post in somewhere like General discussions, there shouldn't be a problem, but its iffy and it is up to revision3 mods.

It's in General Discussions

It's actually one of the site admins that giving Eric the grief. The mods had decided among themselves months ago to allow this sort of thing. But, an admin out-ranks us.

Not to mention he made a big deal about calling himself "staff" so obviously he speaks for the company now.
