  • Public Okay. Shutting down email. Closing all extraneous tabs in Firefox. Closing the door and taking the phone off the hook. Time to get some serious work done on the HPCA site.

Member profile page is next, followed by events listing. Then I can work on migrating the mailing list over to Google Groups.

  • Public New post to the blog. Canada's Privacy Commission shakes a finger at Google in regards to Street Views.

  • Public Haven't declared email bankruptcy, but haven't opened the email client in a day or two to get back on top of things.

I have, on the other hand, declared Remember the Milk and GTD bankruptcy. Part of the whole, not being on top of things.

This week seems as good as any to set things right again. In the meanwhile, if you emailed me with something urgent ... call ...

  • Public Working on HPCA website. Scrapped all the previous work I'd done back in Jan/Feb. and started with fresh slate.

    Much better.

No longer wasting time trying to figure out what I was doing - instead I can leap in and do it and refer to the old code if I get stuck. In one day have accomplished what had taken me more than a week prior.

  • Public Wow - great deal at HMV. $16.99 for the Extended Recut edition of Frank Miller's 'Sin City'. The graphic novel alone is worth that!

    Worth dying for.
    Worth killing for.
    Worth going to hell for.

  • Public What's needed in these presence streams/social networks is an open standard for Friends/Followers/Profiles. I shouldn't have to rebuild my networks with each group I join. It should just know that I know you and you know me because we've already acknowledged that in Twitter or Facebook or here.

  • Public The 4 hour work week....
Haven't read the book yet, but the author's talk at SXSW intrigues me.

  • Public Have to say I'm impressed with the 'forward' feature here on pownce. Being able to send just to 'friends who haven't seen it' will cut down on a lot of repetition and noise.
