I want to tear my hair out! GAH!
I hadn't found out about the apartment yet, so I gave them a call to see if there was a status. Apparently, it is on hold for me in my name... but my credit report is causing them to not give me an answer right away. This is SO frustrating.
I was a credit fraud victim. I thought this stuff had come off of my record, because a lot of time has gone by, and I had absolutely no issue getting my apartment in Mountain View. In fact, I had instant approval. I gave him a brief low-down that I was a victim, but now I have to search through my papers to try to find my information on the credit fraud.
I'm really worried this is not going to work out. :(
